The climate-driven storm of the century is a wake-up call that the climate crisis is already on our doorstep 🌍 #StormEowyn
Yet, UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves is pushing for mass airport expansion🛫

So pleased to see this research, which confirms what we have suspected for years. As well as the appalling loss of nature, you have to ask yourself, how many other planning conditions aren’t being delivered? What other corners are being cut?
On a day when house building is in the news, we publish a new report - LOST NATURE.
In it, we asked if housing developers have been delivering their ecological commitments.
Answer: NO.

Fab time visiting the seals at Donna Nook today and chatting to the very knowledgeable @LincsWildlife volunteers. Thanks @geedubaya for letting me use your photo, my phone camera just doesn’t do them justice!
'Fossil fuel + other petrochemical companies have used "the false promise of plastic recycling" to increase virgin-plastic production exponentially over the past six decades.'
99% of plastics are made from chemicals sources from fossil fuels.🧵1/7

Great fit with #30DaysWild too @WildlifeTrusts
Today-a new one on the lilly pads -Possibly Knot Grass Moth?
Day 24 of #30DaysWild - found this little guy on the way back from the station last night. A fox that was investigating disappeared off as we approached. Shame there were no hedgehog highways in this road but eventually Hedgie snuffled off to safety 💚🦔😍💚
It’s amazing to see what happens when we all come together 💚. The next UK government cannot ignore the nature crisis! @RNNMarch https://t.co/Ic3Y0zY6mR
‘No nature no food, no nature no water, no nature no prosperity, no nature no health, no nature justice, no nature no peace, no nature no joy, no nature no home, no nature no life.’
@WildlifeTrusts | #RestoreNatureNow
Over 60,000 people here today shouting loud and clear #RestoreNatureNow! Huge thank you to everyone who has made it such an excellent day and called loud and clear for a wilder future 💚
The biggest, most existential issue facing our species is being totally ignored in the election debate. Today’s march to #RestoreNatureNow will be a celebration of nature but also an expression of our grief & anger - the lack of leadership is unforgivable https://t.co/56CEQuQebk
Day 18 of #30DaysWild, I was in #Brighton so I did a little seagull safari. Brighton seagulls are bold! You wouldn’t think it to see them here, but Herring Gulls aren’t doing so well in the wider world, which is one reason they hang around here pinching your chips!
Day 17: I’ve been looking out for insects for #30DaysWild, don’t know if it’s the weather but there seems to be way less in the garden this year. Swollen thigh beetle, bumblebee, fly pretending to be a bee, mystery fly, plus a🕷️family in the kitchen😬
