This soundwalk in Belfast’s Botanic Gardens explores how listening and recording can
facilitate a deeper understanding of the non-human lives around us, particularly the birds.
It was produced after a period of over 2 years study of the soundscape at the gardens as well as several related sites around Ireland and combined contemporary
eco-acoustic and field recording practices with traditional knowledge on biodiversity.
I am so blown away by & incredibly proud of what @KathleenCHarris, @rosswhitakertv & team have produced. Each one a total pro at the top of their game. I'm dying for everyone to see it. This new clip is just extremely moving - chills

Some snaps have just arrived in from last year's @wildmind_ie festival where we had artist Chris Steenson and School of Wild Listening director @robertjwcoleman present a listening group together.
Sonorites kicked off last night and I'm excited to have a new soundwalk coming up this Thursday as part of the festival.
