What's the point in fighting when what replaces it won't make a real difference in people's lives? Labour have offered nothing to me, I'm not wasting my time trying to help them win in return.

My MP used to be Keith Vaz, and it was pretty well known he was a shady character, even before his scandal. Most of my life has been holding my nose and voting Labour regardless, I'm at a point where I want to try a new tactic.

@cattywhites2 @RespectIsVital You can't sack an MP. The only way to get rid of her is to beat her in an election, and she has a 19,000 strong majority. Seems her constituents love her. Also, could you explain how she manipulated it? Video wasn't reversed, said she wasn't driving and the driver was still black

@BrownScott Takes 2-3 weeks roughly for big gatherings to start showing an effect on the numbers. There's lots of factories in the area, and they all opened up around may 11th, so it's probably that.

@HinsonPhilip @stuartplowman @GaryLineker @Lol_Yiddo I do think it can be used to educate, but statues that educate are in museums, not public memorials. I would prefer it moved to a museum, and as you say, the events of yesterday make it a much more famous statue. Arguably yesterday is the most culturally relevant it's ever been.

@stuartplowman @GaryLineker @Lol_Yiddo I understand your point there, people grow and evolve, but we could be celebrating people who don't have murky pasts, like Mary Seacole. I think religious iconography is harder to tear down as lots of it is interpretive.
