The third main character is a duck.

He was born a little absent-minded,
always goofy and clueless.
But when his friends are in danger,
he becomes unbelievably dependable.

His pet is a hermit crab,
usually hiding inside a giant shell sword,
waiting for the right moment to strike enemies
with water blasts or high-pressure streams.
When I first started building the story,
I kept making everything too deep, too complicated.

But every time I looked back into the duck’s eyes,
I’d think...
How much scheming could there really be
in a bird’s world?

but he’s obsessed with gold 🪙
He keeps dragging his team back into the arena
just to earn more

Also, he secretly brings a chameleon into battle
(it turns into armor and a cloak)
…so technically, he’s not wearing anything
