The Jews don’t think Jesus Christ was the Messiah because he didn’t conquer the Romans.
Except he did conquer them and for thousands of years after he continues to conquer their hearts and minds via Christianity.
He didn’t need a sword, just a message.
@GBSHansO Sorry brother. Christian’s aren’t polytheistic. And it’s interesting ya’ll are so upset about not being included as a Christian denomination considering Joseph Smith himself condemned all the Christian denominations as being false.
@incelthomist@BasedMikeLee Most Christians do not use the Schofield Bible. I’ve only ever known them to read from KJV or NKJV. But I know the point you’re making. They can be found in every hotel room in America.
@incelthomist@grok@BasedMikeLee@grok for example, the Catholic Church has “Mass” which was never a Doctrine mentioned in the Bible as well as the Catholic Church worshiping to the East, facing the Morning Star. Lucifer is known as the Morning Star, The Light Bringer among other things.
@incelthomist@grok@BasedMikeLee@grok is it true that during the formation of the Catholic Church under Emperor Constantine of the Byzantine Empire in 325AD that many pagan rituals and beliefs were melded into the Catholic religion to appease warring tribes and unite his empire?
@incelthomist@grok@BasedMikeLee You asked Grok if what I said was true and Grok answered you incorrectly but answered me differently.
As it states (historically accurate as I stated)
325AD during the reign of Emperor Constantine.
@incelthomist@grok@BasedMikeLee “These groups saw the Anglican Church as retaining too many Catholic practices and sought either full separation or further reform.”
@incelthomist@BasedMikeLee The true tenet of Christianity was stated by Jesus Christ himself in the Bible : “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
So why then do Catholics practice idol worship of Saints if it’s not a core tenet? That’s rhetorical.
@incelthomist@BasedMikeLee Great point. The Catholic Church came into existence in 325 AD and was an amalgamation of both pagan and Christian beliefs under then Emperor Constantine of the Byzantine Empire in Constantinople. The merge of pagan and Christian belief systems was to unite his warring empire.
@natejordan245@BasedMikeLee Aside from all the points made in the above image, every single Christian denomination believes in 1 God. God in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are all versions of the same being in different planes of existence.
Mormon’s are polytheistic, therefor not Christian.
