Everyone in tech talks about building unicorns. We’re literally making one
The first directly gene edited horse embryos in history. The initial step.
Fluorescent jellyfish gene(GFP) inserted into MC1R at zygote stage using multiple techniques
Weve been using the Colossal "Woollly mouse" as a kind of benchmark for our gene editing techniques
Except we are trying to do it the hard way by CRISPR gene editing the embryos while still inside the womb and not killing any mice in the process
Getting close
These are Cat embryos right before we used CRISPR gene editing to knockout the primary allergen gene Fel D1 on our quest to create a true hypoallergenic cat at Embryo Corp (implants soon)
@josiezayner Maybes you could gene edit mice to produce a combination of Anthocyanins, phycocyanin and crustacyanin of the blue spectrum in their fur, and label them as sonic hedgehog mice, that would be cool

@colossal@people Amazing!, How long before you start editing Fat-tailed dunnart cells to have the reconstructed thylacine genome. Also are you gonna modify your thylacines to be immune to the cane toad toxins
