@shane_pruitt78 Tbf, no one knows what Jesus thought. The scriptures are copies of copies of copies w/ scribal errors or intentional adjustments to fit prophecy or narrative. The vast majority- if not all -of Biblical texts were written by those who heard stories, not by those who knew Jesus.
@jason_howerton Good news Jason -- hell is most likely not real. You are probably a really good person. Don't beat yourself up and enjoy the present - the one life you do have.
@edgaralandough What blew my mind was how there are no original copies of the gospels & how they were written 60-100 years after the lifetime of Jesus - with documented scribal errors & changes throughout the copy to copy process - making it impossible to know what the original actually said.
@GodlyAction We don't know. Not everything he said was written down, and the words that were written down were done so decades after his death. We have to put a lot of trust in ancient scribes and oral tradition to think that any words from the Bible are actually the exact words of Jesus.
@WilsonDrifted It's a good question that most Christians would answer by saying, "because it is a way to communicate with god and because god commands it."
The entire season should've been treated as a probationary period for Stoops. After the rocky start, it should've been known how the buyout would be handled. After the Vandy game, contingencies should have been in place. If he is fired now, it screams incompetence.
