Come along to the mayoral opening of Surbiton’s newest bug hotel tomorrow morning! 10am in Burney Avenue, Surbiton (KT5 8DF). Followed by a short talk by @ElliotNewton90 about minibeasts and garden birds.

Another large scale #BugHotel under construction. The most ambitious one yet as it features a variety of habitats and will be framed by two pollinator beds and living sedum roof.

Yesterday I popped out at lunch to meet the lovely people at Cromwell Open Space, to put up some bat & bird boxes! All were made from recycled wood, by the fantastic organisation @WildReclamation. These will provide more nesting / roosting opportunities in our parks! @RBKingston

Join us in Claremont Gardens on Saturday 1st October 10am - midday. A Mayoral opening of the new pond will be followed by a wildlife talk, pond dipping and tools will also be available for some general gardens upkeep and litter picking.
