I want to repeat a word of caution ... and I know you don't want to hear this.

The degree of price volatility in this market ... combined with the presence of HFT firms trading futures ... makes the odds of succeeding in day trading very low for the vast majority of you.

HFTs have you beat on speed, latency arbitrage, detection of informed flow, pattern analysis, etc. etc. Commissions will erode whatever returns you might eek out.

And while we're all focused on 2026 investment portfolios ... my suggestion would be that you think twice about exposing yourself to this high-risk, unsafe intraday futures market.

And, by the way ... as a medical doctor and surgeon ... I can tell you with absolute certainty ... that sitting, staring at screens ... running your stress hormones up for prolonged periods ... is extremely detrimental to your health. I wish I knew a way to adequately emphasize that single reason to encourage you to think more about investing and less about intraday futures trading.
