@PierrePoilievre Why do they when they can just print money to hand it out to the sheepeople while gas-lighting them with lies of our nation's current trajectory?
@ronmortgageguy@SteveSaretsky I was wondering the same thing because I made a similar switch when the ETFs went mainstream simply because it was a much better UX and I wasn't nearly as concerned with user error costing me. I get the argument a BTC maximalist would make against ETFs but the pros were greater.
@ronmortgageguy I happily subscribe to and listen to both the angry mortgage podcast and the Looney hour. They easily stay in my top 5 must listened to! Great talk guys!
@patweir@ronmortgageguy@wealthy_barber I thought the same when I listened to this episode. Though I understand Ron's take I believe like a lot of things in personal finance there's no one right answer, and what works for one individual's risk tolerance and debit level comfort won't work for another. Why its personal.
@ronmortgageguy Salaries might be up in nominal terms for those who were fortunate, but any increase has been wiped out in purchasing power by inflation. The liberals continue to spin and gas light. Elbows up. ๐คก
@chriswarkentin This is nuts. No one could ever be trusted to regulate free speech because the very act of any amount of regulation makes the speech no longer free. Any party trying to do as much could never trusted.
@21failbot@ronmortgageguy Agreed. Looking forward to when they finally break ground on Bruce C. Hear it's become a very strong possibility they do as soon as the MCR refurbishments on the existing stations are at or near complete. ๐ค๐
@ronmortgageguy I worked as a contractor at the OPG in Nanticoke getting one of the coal fired turbines mothballed for when they decided to switch it over to natural gas. Then Wynne ordered the whole place leveled. It made zero sense then and even less now with where we're at... ๐คท๐คฆ
