Frankie and I are walking throughout October to help support the RFDS. We are both set up for the same target, but her legs are shorter so it’s a bit further for her to go. She’s taking it very seriously and made sure we got in our first few kms today.

@RuralDocDan great points re funding disparity - not just for services but also for research - the 30% of Australians living rural and remote, with the highest health needs, receive 3% of the funding for health research
@rtaylor_4@drvyom@drmiketodorovic@SandroDemaio They worked closely with us during production. Some artistic licence and much drama thrown in, but technical aspects they’ve worked hard to get right (as much as they can within limits of tv and a one hour show)
@rtaylor_4@drvyom@drmiketodorovic@SandroDemaio Yes, amniotic fluid very bad for aircraft parts. Pilots and engineers very unhappy when it spills on floor, particularly in a Kingair with all the avionics running under the aisle and stretchers. We’ve had aircraft unserviceable for days due to amniotic fluid damage

A big thankyou to our national partner AirBP for their generous donation of 35,000 N95 masks to the RFDS PPE stockpile. We cannot thank AirBP enough for this much-needed gift. N95 masks are crucial to keeping our staff safe. https://t.co/9mKctVrt4B
