Ich konnte eben mit unserem Missionschef in Bangkok telefonieren. Die Lage insbesondere in Myanmar ist noch unübersichtlich. Leider ist von vielen Opfern auszugehen. Die Botschaft hat den ganzen Tag über aktiv den Kontakt mit Österreichern in der Region gesucht. Bisher liegen uns glücklicherweise keine Informationen vor, dass Österreicher zu Schaden gekommen sind.

The 155th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Austria was celebrated in 2024. This was a special year for bilateral relations between the two countries.
