There was an incident at my school today. I want to cry for the Principal. It will take so much energy and time to calm down students, staff, and parents. But I know this Principal has it in her. She is amazing. Everything is going to be fine. I’m just still so emotionally close to what Principals have to go through when there is an emergency. For ANY critic who has NEVER been a Principal, I’m telling you, pass all the judgement you want, but you can’t possibly know what it’s like unless you’ve “sat in the chair”. Don’t try to tell me otherwise. I’m having a panic attack just from being triggered by reading of this incident today. Educator PTSD is very real.

COACHING HIRE: Former long-time Madison/McDaniel head coach Chuck Matthews has been hired as the first-ever head coach at 3A Riverside, the newest high school in @WLWVdistrict.

The Raptors will start off as a JV program their first season in 2023-24.
