Open Reconstruction

We have been thinking a lot about what Imprint should become after mint.

We did not want to add utility just for the sake of having utility. It needed to feel connected to the artwork and the idea behind it.

Imprint is about memory, change and the marks that stay with us. Every piece feels like part of a history, but never the whole history.

That led us to Open Reconstruction.

Every Imprint would have one of three roles.

Origin is where the memory begins. It brings the foundation, structure and main colors.

Fracture is the moment something changes. It brings movement, tension and disruption.

Echo is what remains. It brings the smaller fragments, repetition and atmosphere.

At first, we thought about creating fixed sets of three. But that could become frustrating. If someone needed one exact NFT and the owner did not want to sell, the set would stay incomplete.

So we opened the system.

You would not need specific token numbers. Any Origin, any Fracture and any Echo could be brought together.

Collect all three roles (Origin + Fracture + Echo), bring them together, and unlock a completely new piece of art.

- The Origin would establish the base.
- The Fracture would shape the movement.
- The Echo would add the atmosphere and finer details.
- The result would be called a Reconstruction.

While an Imprint feels like something breaking apart or fading away, a Reconstruction would move in the opposite direction. Fragments would come together. Broken grids would align. Separate colors would find a shared balance.

At the centre, they would form something complete.

Each combination would produce a different result.

To keep the idea meaningful, every Imprint could participate once during a Reconstruction season. If all 777 pieces take part, that season could create up to 259 completed artworks.

The original collection would never be replaced or changed.

We are still shaping this idea and would genuinely like collectors to be part of the conversation.
