@cary2352 I think he was challenged very hard in person and in text / video over his record and the evidence brought against him, his brother and his family. I think that is well worth doing for an international audience. BBCMundo had the uncut version. Thanks for feedback! All best.
@johnperry21 Yes. It broke after we spoke to him (we spoke to him some time ago, but published recently). As made clear in the full interview on BBCMundo. Gracias.
@cary2352 Because the details of it broke in the days after we recorded. We offered him a chance to respond / issue a statement (see BBCMundo) which he didn’t take. (We didn’t speak or record this interview this week.)
Sorry to hear of the death of Alan Yentob. I had the extraordinary experience of helping him out twice in Cuba on an Arena doc about @CAcostaOfficial and then with @JulienTemple on music and revolution. A consummate pro and a unique film-maker. Abrazos to his loved ones.
@johnofladublin Ah, John, thank you so much. Am genuinely grateful for your message. Glad you found the coverage helpful on what was an extraordinary moment to witness. Happy New Year to you and yours!
