You have not heard of this. No one has. The CA state Senate is going to try and rush through and pass AB98 over the next few days. This bill puts statewide draconian restrictions on the development of new warehouses.
It's a big deal and if you work in this space you need to quickly make your voice heard. NAIOP has a good page on it.
CA continues to come up with new ways to push businesses out.
