After prayerful consideration, I am humbled to announce my candidacy for House District 14 in the soon-to-be-held vacancy committee following House Minority Leader Rep. Rose Pugliese’s announcement that she is retiring.

Minority Leader Pugliese served not only our district, but the entire state with distinction. Her leadership was instrumental in flipping seats during the last election cycle, and it was through her tireless efforts that Democrats lost their supermajority in the House. 

I have always been proud to call her my Representative, and her absence will be deeply felt.

I was born and raised in this beautiful state, and it breaks my heart to see lifelong Coloradans being pushed out. Under Democratic control, Colorado has become unaffordable, unsafe, and poorly governed. We deserve better.

I am not a career politician. I bring a fresh perspective with over a decade of experience as a small business owner, firearms instructor, and gun rights advocate. Like many of you, I have dedicated my time, talent, and treasure to the grassroots work of helping to flip seats and defend our conservative principles. 

Our American values, from respecting life from the moment of conception to free speech without violence, and our God-given Second Amendment rights are under attack. I’ve met with people across this state and within my district who feel the same way I do. I am ready to serve the patriots of House District 14.

My mission is simple: we will make Colorado safe again. We will make Colorado affordable again. And we will make Colorado great again! 

We cannot make our state safer by stripping law-abiding citizens of their rights while violent offenders and illegal immigrants are released back onto our streets. 

Criminals must be held accountable. 

Our children should be able to walk through their school libraries without being exposed to pornography. Young women and girls deserve their own sports leagues, bathrooms, and locker rooms, uninvaded by gender-confused boys who are simply bigger and stronger. Our schools should accept nothing less than the same level of armed security we employ to protect banks, entertainment venues, and politicians. 

At the same time, we must confront the rising cost of living by easing the burdens and taxes placed on small businesses and working families, and we must bring transparency to government spending so taxpayers know exactly where their money is going.

Finally, I want to unite Colorado Republicans. We cannot afford to be divided against one another when we are already outnumbered at the Capitol. I am committed to being a team player, supporting colleagues in vulnerable districts, raising funds, knocking on doors, and doing everything I can to help us gain more seats and take Colorado back from the one-party rule that is destroying this beautiful and once-great state.

Cleaning up the Democrats’ mess won’t be easy. But with hard work, unity, and principled leadership, we can restore safety, opportunity, and rational governance for every Coloradan. I’m ready to fight for our state, and I humbly ask for your support.
