A year ago I finally decided I was going to fullfill one of my dreams, publish a complete game on steam, and I'm pleased to announce that the 8th of July I'll release Unpaired Socks on Steam:

[Wetterschneider @Stretchedwiener]

It did. Absolutely developed a ML/AI program to discern frame to frame movement of animated characters and how the lighting/shading should follow along. "KLaS".

Developed in 2015. A full 7 years before Midjourney V1 dropped. 6 years before DALL-E dropped.

That software generated bezier curves to control the lighting/shading. Then the curves were reviewed and massaged frame by frame by artists.

It's important to distinguish the difference between that form of ML/AI and the exploitative abusive and harmful general AI generative software we're pushing back on right now. Machine Learning has been useful for decades. Nuance is key.

Friendly reminder to every indie dev fixing bugs tonight instead of resting. You are turning an empty project into a place someone will escape to after a bad day

It's slow, it's tiring, and some nights it feels pointless, but it matters. Be proud of how far you've come ❤️

[Matteo Pullano @Will_Spearshake]

@SilvanuzGamedev True the gain in focus and cuteness is significant, I have my three cats sleeping in turns on my lap and It helps the development

[Matteo Pullano @Will_Spearshake]

In Unpaired Socks I wanted to give a user a quick way to check and correct sorting mistakes, so what's better than the feature I've used myself for the tests.

[Matteo Pullano @Will_Spearshake]

Every sock paired in the Arcade Mode of Unpaired socks gets added to the collection, there are over 1500 of them, can you pair them all?

@Franrekk The pixel art is good It sends directly in the wishlist

[Matteo Pullano @Will_Spearshake]

For doing the art for Unpaired Socks the part I had more fun with (apart from making the socks) is drawing and designing the houses of the villagers

In the arcade mode of Unpaired Socks you can sort socks forever but it still feels less time than sorting your own drawer...

[Ministero Difesa @MinisteroDifesa]

"IL FATTO QUOTIDIANO INVENTA E MISTIFICA LA REALTA’ DEI FATTI. ORA BASTA.”
