Personally I do prefer a socialist style system, but if you truly believe capitalism isn’t dying and can be saved, this is how you prove it. It’s time American workers stop suffering and we must make that happen one way or another.
They will write a sympathy article about how corporations who cut jobs and replaced them with self checkouts are now facing a “$10B theft crisis” but they’ll remain silent on how workers across the country are facing over $700B in wage theft. Workers deserve living wages
Imagine if you took the money from those billionaires and redistributed it to close the wealth gap. When workers have money, they spend it right back into the economy. Ending wage theft doesn’t just massively decrease poverty, it creates an unstoppable economic machine.
Institutional sin affects everyone. Personal sin affects you. It isn’t anyone’s place to call out personal sin, but it is everyone’s duty to call out institutional sin.
I’m writing a report on Missouri farmers and what they’re going through. I’d appreciate any farmers in the state to fill out this survey. I do include an option at the end to remain anonymous. Thank you all for the very hard work you do feeding us. https://t.co/roXrlbXi6W
I know many Venezuelans are relieved today. But the U.S. has a long, ugly record when it comes to occupations and human rights. There will be a honeymoon period. After that, I fear this administration will treat Venezuelans with bigotry, inferiority, and disrespect.
Is Maduro a horrible person who deserved removal? Yes. Should it have been done this way? No. We didn’t dismantle the regime. We didn’t outline a transition. We didn’t even say elections will be held. Instead we’re told the U.S. is going to “run” Venezuela “for now.”
It amazes me how Republicans will spend so much energy claiming that it’s not our job to police the world or give tax dollars to foreign countries but then support those very things when their party does it. This will last years and cost the individual taxpayer thousands.
