Macross 7 has quickly become one of my favorite entries in the franchise despite it being the least serious and a chunk of the early episodes having almost no story progression. I just really dig the vibe and Fire Bomber cranks out some jams.

Newgrounds did it both as solidarity towards actual human creators and also as a practical measure. If they didnt implement a ban, they would be absolutely overloaded with GenAI content overnight and the site would be unusable (like how Google image search sucks now)
