Rangers FC Striker Market🔴⚪️🔵
Turgeman is a player who is well known to the Rangers hierarchy having already shown interest in him.
A player who may not be as known is Shin Yamada in the J-League who could be acquired for a cheap fee compared to players in Europe
@maurieswigs Right so I’m not allowed to give my opinion on something at the moment, which was in my opinion a fair comment. I’m happy that it’s improved I pay enough for my ST. McInnes has got things to improve as I have said earlier today. Enjoy your Twitter scroll mate
@maurieswigs So at the time I was okay to say it but because things have improved it’s suddenly embarrassing? Was said when Makhanya hadn’t been signed nor Minsu or Kelsey. Dio was being played wide and Aasgaard 10. Again at the time more than acceptable to say and again happy its improved
@maurieswigs Not really. At the time it was a mess. More than happy to say it’s worked out. Wouldn’t really say it’s embarrassing. But you’re more than welcome to your opinion as am I to mine
I personally critiqued McInnes early on, for OOP shape and style of football.
Clearly this is something that has been addressed over the last few games and is something that clearly looks much improved. The break will help the team bond and familiarise even more!
@IainMitchell17 His *best* role is hoovering up loose balls and passing it off to better players. Never a player to play the ball through. Raskins movement doesn’t help as it’s very easy to mark.
Ball playing 6 is desperately needed. Would’ve thought plan was Raskin to leave early and find one
@FarvaRangers Midfield 2 not doing enough off the ball for me way too many gaps for players praised for defensive work.
In possession Devlin is hopeless
Raskin book value - £500k
Wages (approx) plus amortised transfer fee works out at around £5m approx spend
Anything around £15m is a win plus losing 20% of anything over £1.75m due to sell on from Standard (I believe)
🚨 Rangers have rejected an offer from Besiktas after the Turkish giants attempted to strike a loan deal for midfielder Nico Raskin.
@RangersReview55 understands a significant loan fee was offered to secure Raskin for the new campaign ⤵️

Current book value - £2.65m (£3.5m fee on arrival)
Total cost to Rangers so far (inc approx wages)
£1.5m
Anything near £6m sale either straight or loan with option that becomes permanent is good money imo
🚨 Exclusive: Rangers are in advanced talks with Anderlecht over a move to sign Thelo Aasgaard.
The Norwegian, 24, has fallen down the pecking order at Ibrox in recent weeks. The Belgian window closes tomorrow, with UEFA's squad deadline tonight.

Loan with obligation? Yes
Loan with cond. option? Yes
Loan with (no) option? Never
Raskin was never going to go EPL, more suited to elsewhere
If fee is around £15m it’s a win imo.
Market value and expected MV never going to be higher at £15m due to SPFL performances
Besiktas remain in talks with Rangers over a deal to sign Nico Raskin.
The Turkish market remains open until Friday, but squads for UEFA competition must be submitted by tonight.

@IainMitchell17@1872MB Under the new rules of 10 secs for the subs if it’s 5 double subs or 5 stoppages they can only add 50 seconds total, as if they take longer than 10 they *should* not allow the new player to enter the pitch
As many of you know, I was a Rangers fan long before I worked in football.
Watching the opening weeks of the season, I couldn't help feeling we're stuck in the same cycle we've seen for years.
This isn't really about one manager or one result. It's about identity, culture and the direction of the football club.
Some thoughts below ….

@FarvaRangers Completely agree. Doesn’t help on the ball we are “trying” a 3-box-3
Penrice and Neil double pivot, Chuk as an inside midfielder but Dragojevic is basically on the touch line instead of being central!?
All over the shop at this moment. Will be some thumping in Europe imo
Rangers in build phase in mid and def third look to have way too many bodies behind the ball instead of infront.
Allowing FKJ to press man to man. Not really areas you want a turnover.
Building in static 3-2 doesn’t work when the 5 ahead don’t offer constant channels to play
