@SquidgeRugby Yeah but you can’t argue we have enough players and crowds to sustain 4 pro teams. Narrow the playing squads (only the best players not the ones “earning” a living), invest in academies and build for the future.

Sorry but Welsh rugby team v Eng not a great advert for having 4 regions. Narrow the playing squad, invest in academies rather than paying too many players who are not good enough. With the crowds watching Welsh rugby you cannot pay that many players sustainably.

@LeeJarvis10 No clue Wales… how do they call themselves professionals, no skills, no intent, limited fitness. What do they do in camp? Reduce the regions as there are too many players fluking a living. If I delivered this level in work I would get sacked…

@philsteele1 At least they are peaking. How can people complain about Wales reducing regions, they are clearly not working after watching that 1/2 v Japan. What do they do in camp? No depth, just pass to the next man, no intent running on to the ball, what do our centres do..🤷🏻‍♂️

@LeeJarvis10 My only issue is that all the pundits say seismic decisions need to be made but then don’t give much detail on what their suggestions would be🤷🏻‍♂️ if you look at attendances in the URC Welsh rugby cannot be sustained on them so root and branch changes are needed from top to bottom

@LeeJarvis10 I just don’t see any coaching, just not improving. Forwards that are static, backs that don’t straighten, chase as individuals and not sure why it took 4 kicks offs to realise what Aussies were doing down the middle. Not sure what the answer is but some decent coaching would help

@LeeJarvis10 Poor Welsh performance, 2nd rows that offer static go forward. Without Mason Grady lost all shape in the back line, no back 3 cover on bench, Costelow on the wing for 60 mins. Lost composure, could still have won if hadn’t panicked at the end. Fiji deserved it without doing much

@rborisp @WRU_Community 100% but starts even earlier as districts picking kids because of who they play for or who their fathers is. Old boys club still exists. Then academies not letting players back to club rugby to get game time at 18yrs old is just crazy.

@LeeJarvis10 100% but what are they being coached.. Wales’ backs moves start 10yds behind the gain line with a ship on from Costelow. So easy to read, even at age grade rugby you teach kids to take to the line and make defenders make decisions. Have to question region coaching as well…Poor.
