@TheAppleDesign Apple Maps is terrible. Turn the volume off on your phone it forces it back on. I don’t want it giving me audio instructions but apparently I’m not allowed to mute my phone with them on
@rod_mallo This is a great example of a perfect theory with zero practical applications to the problem its intended to solve
Getting seats on the plane takes way less time. The problem shifts upstream to now having to organise everyone to board at the same time in a specific order.
@mitchellh I use windows because I mainly write C#.
Though it’s also a lot easier to get things working. As an example a while ago I tried to install rust on my Mac, it installed but needed other stuff installing / config to work - on windows I just run the rust installer and it’s done
We need help. I hate asking. I feel like I’m failing. Please know my husband has asked to speak to Amazon directly since we learned of their accusations, but they refuse. He has nothing to hide. Thank you for your help. Truly. https://t.co/J7fUD6LKxi
@Grady_Booch @Newcolour78 If you could add another 50 years on to your life would you not take it? Be able to see your grandkids grow to adults, explore the world, not have your body start to weaken around the time you retire etc. seems like it’s a good goal to put money into
@cherthedev Im a big fan of apple products, I really like how they have innovated and pushed tech forward. However I hate their treatment of customers and worse their employees. They need to make significant cultural changes and own up to their shortcomings if they want to keep succeeding.
@cherthedev This is so true. I’m way more rested at work now I don’t have to get up at 6am to be in the office before traffic gets bad. And being able to work in a quiet environment when needed really helps maintain the focus.
@heeeedgy@SergioRocks@GergelyOrosz A good team and supportive company culture can make remote work a success for juniors. You just have to put the effort in to support them.
