What? REALLY? The Atlantic Shores wind projects in NJ are stalled in federal review—yet even if they fail, the company can sit on the leases for 30 YEARS! Shut it down. Cancel the leases. No turbines. Ever. @epaleezeldin@SecretaryBurgum@Congressman_JVD https://t.co/sE8kZpaKJK
Absolutely. Small state of RI had the third highest miscount!??
FROM MAY 19, 2022: According to the Post Enumeration Survey released Thursday, Rhode Island was overcounted by more than 5%, the third highest in the country.
That 5% equates to roughly 55,000 people who were overcounted. Experts said that the overcount allowed Rhode Island to keep their second congressman, which pre-census release data suggested the state was in danger of losing.
“The estimated overcount is more than the roughly 19,000 people we needed to keep our second congressional district,” said John Marion, executive director of Common Cause RI.

Three points:
1. Yesterday’s announcement by @BOEM was huge, and took thousands of square miles off the table for future development of industrial offshore wind installations.
2. While @SecretaryBurgu’s order introduces even more uncertainty, there are still several projects under construction that could continue to move forward if legal challenges and DOI review do not stop them: including Empire, Vineyard, Sunrise, Revolution and Dominion.
3. The disinformation about “good paying union jobs” and “cheap, clean energy” from the offshore wind industry’s cheerleaders like the Oceanic Network ring hollow. We know that NGOs, union leaders and some politicians would stop shilling for the foreign fossil fuel companies and foreign workers building inefficient, unreliable and wildly expensive offshore wind facilities once they stop getting funding to do so.

“Permits authorizing harm and death to marine mammals must be rescinded before at-risk species are lost forever,” said Mike Dean, a board member of Save the East Coast Inc.
Vineyard Wind has “gone into hiding” Nantucket Select Board member Brooke Mohr said at today’s press conference.
Mohr said the offshore wind developer has failed to live up to its agreement with the town in three areas: communications, the aircraft detection lighting system, and a disaster response plan. It is sending a list of 15 specific demands to Vineyard Wind and giving the company two weeks to respond. Still, the town remains a party to the “Good Neighbor Agreement” with Vineyard Wind. Stay tuned for more details…..
🚨 Environmentalists, it’s time to look again. OSW isn't clean and green—it’s a noisy, risky, destructive industrial project off our coast. #SaveLBI is urging the Sierra Club, NRDC & others to reexamine what they’re supporting. #StopOffshoreWind

Today would have been my dad’s 74th birthday.
This season carries gravity. Father’s Day, his birthday, and the anniversary of his passing all fall within 60 days.
For me, grief has no straight path. It revisits, reshapes, and rises when I least expect it.
But alongside it lives a legacy built on generosity and kindness.
He made people feel seen. Gave permission to feel deeply and to laugh through pain. That mission continues.
To those carrying loss right now: you’re not alone.
Happy birthday, Dad. Love you forever.
This subversive criminal socialist needs to be removed from the halls of our representatives. NOW.
The Rhode Island Constitution is clear: the government’s first responsibility is to protect its CITIZENS, ensure laws are executed, and serve the good of the whole.
Willfully ignoring federal immigration law, aiding unlawful entry, or refusing to maintain public safety is clearly a failure to uphold the oath of office, a violation of duty, and a betrayal of state sovereignty and constitutional order.
