1/- I’m old enough to remember the 70s. In Liverpool we had our shop (we lived above it) set on fire and vandalised many times. The early 80s was the same. There were days at school when I heard the word Paki hundreds of times. Then slowly in the late 80s and 90s it all improved
Months before he died of cancer, Don Anderson gave his daughter, Lola, a note.
It was a diary entry Lola had thrown away as a child which said her dream was to win Olympic rowing gold. Her dad had kept it.
She's got her gold medal ❤️

@RugbyBarrister @thebarwithmb@Courtney_Lawes It’s a no brainer. A world class and inspirational player of the game. The word “legend” is often ill-used to describe players that had great careers. Not in Courtney Lawes case. A true legend of the game and an extraordinarily talented rugby player.
@NEDKC_1 @aqsawiggingit Well done. Remember the good days, there will be lots of difficult and demanding ones moving forward, but the good days always make up for the difficult ones.
