@James_S_Murphy My question is and has been, “What happens when the children of low-income graduates apply for admission to Harvard or anywhere else?” Assuming an alumnus has achieved all the advantages of an “elite” education, how will his/her child be treated in the admission process?
@JohnFugelsang This is why keeping church and state separate is such a great idea. No religious text should dictate what people do in their own lives or what governments should do.
@woofknight Took my grandmother to see it when it came out; her first movie in years. I was so embarrassed at how unfunny it was. Sucked all the funny out of the room. I apologized to her but she was diplomatic about it. Worst movie ever.
@kerrlockhart On the Protestant side, I think “debts” suggests the practical, unadorned view of life that begat modern capitalism. On the Catholic side, “trespasses” seems a lot more comprehensive! And what about lopping off the rest? “For thine is the kingdom…”? What happened there?
