The left finally succeeded in an assassination attempt, the hatred they have long propagated and promoted has now directly led to the death of a 31 year old man, a man who worked tirelessly to help make this world a better place. Charlie Kirk went to campus settings all around this nation in an effort to share and engage in the open exchange of ideas, a fundamental tenet of our nation. He was not evil, nor did he foster evil, no matter how many left-leaning lunatics attempt to color him as such. He espoused conservative values and ideas, and he was murdered for daring to speak his mind. He touched the souls of young people all over this nation, and in turn, they opened their hearts and minds to listen and engage in productive debate. It was a win-win for all, as every university should be a melting pot of ideas, just as we are a melting pot of a nation.
This assassin may have succeeded in his mission to snuff out Charlie's life, but he failed miserably in the effort to silence Charlie's ideas and beliefs. Rather, this misguided killer will spawn a new generation of Charlie Kirk's, because ideas will never be silenced. Many others will now rush to the defense of these ideas, so that Charlie will live forever. Students witnessing and learning of this tragedy will now be more open than ever to a deeper understanding of Charlie's message. Every action creates a deeper, stronger, and opposite reaction. The killer didn't silence Charlie, because Charlie's ideas are bullet-proof, and now Charlie's messaging will only grow stronger as a result.
