Basically the same thoughts as when we were seemingly getting Wimmer for me but with the added bonus of a chant already set for him. Like the fact that he’s young and relatively unknown as everyone can back him from the off. Obviously a huge gamble but so is any manager #UTG
🚨 Expecting Bristol Rovers to name Brighton Under-18s manager Inigo Calderon as their new manager.
The 42-y/o Spaniard was sounded out as the best candidate for the job after last week's setback.

Good thing they didn’t make that Rovers vs Weston-super-mare FA cup game in November go to a replay otherwise poor united wouldn’t be able to go on their post season tour to Malaysia as their players would be too tired
🚨 | BREAKING:
#mufc are planning to go on a post-season trip to Malaysia at the end of the current season for a money-spinning tour that may earn the club £7.96 million in revenue. [@TheAthleticFC]
Really like the fact that it’s someone who we don’t really know anything about. Makes it more exciting and also gives people no reason not to back him from the start #UTG
🚨 Understand that Bristol Rovers have identified German coach Michael Wimmer as the leading candidate for their managerial vacancy.
Deal not done yet but Gas pushing to have a new boss in charge for Exeter City. #UTG

Real shame because he was clearly desperate to do well and I certainly wanted him to but even though I wanted him to have a full season we are so far below our expectations so it’s definitely the right decision. My worry now is that we have a repeat of last season
@malvince5 @Clan_Quarters @Wakeygas Fair enough, I think the frustration among our fans is that given the investment in the summer we should be at least competing in every game this season which we didn’t do today, although I have to admit Birmingham this season are a different level
Great away day but that’s the last time we’ll be playing there in a while because the way it’s going we’ll be 2 leagues apart next season. Feels like I’ve backed Taylor long enough now but these performances just aren’t acceptable. We’re 2 points off the bottom 4. Time to go
I left pretty soon after full time but from what I saw only 6 or so of the players came over to clap the fans. Poor from them. Taylor will rightly get the blame today but they need to take some responsibility as well. Lack of intensity on the pitch also isn’t just down to him
@Wakeygas I don’t mind the result at all it was better than I expected. The fact that we only played with any sort of desire or intensity for the first 10 mins of the 2nd half is what is so frustrating

So happy to be in the 3rd round (potential for a huge draw) but also for Horseman, Taylor and all of the players. Clearly meant so much to them all shown by their togetherness throughout and after the game. Griffiths can have a statue. Buzzing for the draw on Monday #UTG
