@bec_spindler No just putting up flagging tape to make things easier to find for the TAFE group. We don’t actually open the traps until the end of the month but I can feel this year being a ripper. The sand pad monitoring last week was a Mitchell’s hopping mouse bonanza!

It is a hard life for #Malleefowl chicks once their hatch. Zero parental care, foxes, cats, goannas and trying to find food. But sadly, some don’t even hatch at all - this little one was found in the bottom of an old mound at Ninghan IPA. #ThreatenedSpecies #WildOz

.@WillHansenBHA Previously thought #malleefowl needed 30-40yrs long unburnt veg but seems as long as there is food, shelter & suitable litter to create a mound they can breed successfully even w/out predator control. Oh & the males don’t necessarily do all the work! #TSforumWA
