if you like TRUE DETECTIVE and THE WIRE, you have to watch “quarry” (2016). it’s about a vietnam war veteran in 1970s memphis, tennessee forced to be a hitman. it was cancelled after 1 season because nobody was watching it. truly a masterpiece, it had so much potential.
