bystevenr explains why copying other traders will keep you broke and why conviction must be yours:

bystevenr: "Only take your own trades. I'm in a bunch of groups with a bunch of the best traders, and I look at their trades and their theses, but ultimately the best trades come from my own conviction."

"A lot of people don't know what tokens to buy because they're only buying tokens that people tell them to buy or people are scamming. That's the first problem. The basics are how to spot a rug, but then it goes down to what token is actually gonna run. I think it's just time in the market, and you really need to have that dog in you. You have to want to be scanning 24/7 to understand narratives and see a bunch of runners every single day."

"If I tell somebody, 'Yo, I'm super convicted in Zipcoin, buy it,' and they're like, 'It's down 80%, I don't really know what it is, I'm just gonna fade it.' If you're a better trader, you usually just fade other people's scans, and if you're a newer trader, you just buy people's scans. You need to figure out your own trades and just have time in the market."

口号 slop is the art。
