Axios: In attempt to block Chris Rabb from winning the Democratic nomination in #PA03, sources say Josh Shapiro suggested that the building trades, which are backing another candidate, Sharif Street, avoid running negative ads against a third contender, Ala Stanford.
Street and Stanford are seen as traditional Democrats who share similar voters.
@alanthefisher@billybrizzle420 God willing...
My beautiful country, Philadelphia, will open city run grocery stores to compete and lower prices city wide.
@harrisonfinberg We know exactly why Shapiro doesn't want Rabb in office. Israel.
You say that as if it's some calculated take by Shapiro when Rabb just doesn't match his priorities.
@gben78@harrisonfinberg That's exactly what I mean. There's gotta be resources for these people Before we can penalize.
That's what the DSA believes as well. I think that's the disconnect.
You're right, but Republicans don't want to vote for that.
@AndrewFiggy@mathoosewalks I see what you mean but I feel this polarization was brought on by the democratic and republican machines. If there's anybody that represents the machine, it's Street.
I also feel he'd be less polarizing, but I feel like there's gotta be a disconnect there somewhere. idk
@AndrewFiggy@mathoosewalks So do you think street, Stanford, or Rabb would fight for this best?
Because it's a good point.
I see Rabb as the only unbought soul in the race. He'd make that choice every time. I'm not so sure about the other two
Only 2 states’ car fees actually cover their road costs. The other 48 require heavy subsidies. Last year, the feds spent $30B more on highways than the gas tax generated. Drivers aren’t “paying for transit riders” when they can’t even pay for roads. Talk about that.
