Boeing Air Transport in 1927. It was later renamed United Aircraft transportation Corpration (UATC) in 1929. Same airline just different names. Boeing never got rid of the mail routes so thats what built (expanded) into the BAT

In my opinion @united is the worlds oldest airline in existence. Reason i say this is when William @BoeingAirplanes flew the first mail delivery on March 3rd 1919 7 months before @KLM was founded. He flew mail deliveries from 1919 till 1929 when he established 1/2
