"I think the conceptual mistake in looking at the Vision Pro is to think that this is a luxury device. Apple thinks that the display and sensors are, in fact, the *minimum* possible to make a viable xR product. The catch is that the only way to make that in 2024 is at $3,500, but I would be surprised if Apple isn’t planning pricing in line with the iPhone and iPad. $3500 is the cost of a beta test from the future." – @benedictevans
