If the President has to be born here, why do we let people born somewhere else write our laws, sit on our courts, and lecture us about “our democracy”?

The Constitution already says the Commander in Chief has to be a natural-born citizen. Makes sense. The person with the nuclear codes should not have a backup passport and a second allegiance.
Mace wants that same standard for Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers. She named names: Ilhan Omar. Shri Thanedar. Pramila Jayapal. All born overseas. All sitting in the House. All acting like America is the problem.
Omar’s response was, “Good luck to her.”

I agree with Rep Mace. Foreign born should never be able to hold any type of local or federal office.

I first noticed this with the Clinton Administration, where prevarication was so ingrained into their personal philosophy, that they would tell a lie when they would have been far better served by the truth.

I cannot comprehend why Sunny thought this was a useful lie to tell, but clearly she chose to.

This is the funniest thing on the internet this morning.

Turns out Sunny Hostin was lying about being the lone holdout juror who got The Butcher of Tompkins Square Park off on murder charges.

The holdout was an unemployed guy who wanted the $15/day juror stipend to continue, and Hostin is quoted as being upset he got off:

“He knew what he was doing.”

Earth to Sunny, the truth makes you look far better than the lie!
