Good point about Stockport. And I think you’re bang on about us being braver going forwards, too. But all in all a valuable point which I’m pretty sure we’d’ve failed to secure in earlier guises.
Well, I thought that wasn’t too shabby! Much more resilient at the back and plenty of effort off the ball. I’d like to see them a bit braver creatively but let’s be straight, Stockport were effective more than beautiful! COYP’s
@ade_rawden Yeah. That makes sense. I don’t think we’re far short of being a very decent team. Just got to find a better way of transitioning in attack.
@ade_rawden One of those things mate. I spent the entire second half of the 1987-88 season in the bogs under the County Road stand after Mark Draper scored a blinder while I went for a wazz. The lads said I had to stay there and I did. Though Christmas was sad. And whiffy.
@achandler2409 @Daybrookexile I agree. Though I must confess the craziness of being the top scoring league side with the worst defensive record felt SO Notts, I do miss it a bit. I’m not used to steady pragmatism- though it’s our best hope for promotion I suspect!

Just trying to get to get my head round the new Sky/ iFollow replacement for watching the EFL (and Notts) and I think I’m missing something ‘cause the site says it’s a great new deal - and yet it seems as if I basically pay £5 more per game - which is a 50% increase…
@mattbennotts I’m confused myself to be honest. But it seems it’s a new Sky channel you access through a NOW pass (same as when we paid iFollow) - which admittedly lets you watch EVERYTHING on the channel for 24 hours. Except I only wanna watch Notts - so it’s a false plus! And I think it’s uk
