@FabrizioRomano Started bunkering and then had two headers on target and a shot off the woodwork before the equalizer. Plenty of warning the bunkering was going to fail but chose to keep doing it anyway. Absolutely no excuse.
@BBCSport Might be worse than Southgate. Started bunkering and then had two headers on target which fortunately went right to the keeper and a shot off the woodwork before the equalizer. Plenty of warning the bunkering was going to fail but chose to stay the course anyway.
@TaylorTwellman Honestly worse than Southgate. Started bunkering and then had two headers on target which fortunately went right to the keeper and a shot off the woodwork before the equalizer. Plenty of warning the bunkering was going to fail but chose to stay the course anyway.
@ByDougMcIntyre@FOXSoccer Strongly disagree. This wasn’t a tactical failure, but a mental one. Positive adjustments were made at hydration breaks and halftime when he could influence things. Players including a 38 year old vet making errors is not on him.
@barstoolsports Like this idea. Balogun seems ready to step into the role of being “the guy” in ways Pulisic isn’t. Don’t get me wrong Pulisic is immensely talented, but he seems to get in his head when he feels the pressure is all on him.
@RioPezzi@McConaughey@FIFAWorldCup They changed their lineup. Took out some of the big name vets who, while possessing immense talent, play at a slower pace and with less physicality. Basically they started with the adjustments they made at the end of Senegal.
