Even setting aside the question of whether Netanyahu is "extreme" or not, he obviously has no idea that American Jews remain the best way to keep America interested in a partnership with Israel, and his partisan actions pisses us off.

He stalled Biden-era Hamas ceasefire talks by adding demands in 2024, with a deal magically materializing around Trump's January 2025 inauguration. He extended the torture and starvation of hostages, some of which were killed in the interim, to play partisan games.

Oh, and it got him nothing. Trump never had any intention of forcing Hamas to disarm or pressuring Arab leaders to take any steps to make it happen. That was supposedly his hang-up with Biden's deals, and history shows he was either stupid or a liar, and the hostages paid the price.

He also completely fails to realize that American Jews are Americans. For all the bigotry about our divided loyalty, we do not defer to Netanyahu's judgments about whether Trump or Biden is better for Jews. We chose Biden and Harris, overwhelmingly, and resented Netanyahu for throwing his weight behind Trump.

Netanyahu has a history of repeatedly making this same miscalculation about American Jews time and time again, and support of Israel in the US has cratered partially because of it, even among educated and reasonable people, nearly all of whom are liberal.

Having RFK Jr & Dr. Oz in charge of the ENTIRE public healthcare system (Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, ACA, etc) sure as hell doesn't help with the argument for putting ALL healthcare policy under the federal gov't.
