@hasannazar The Eagles being in the state they’re in, I’m finding joy at the misfortune of other supposed big dogs in the NFC—especially when it’s at the hands of a decidedly cursed team like the Falcons.
Republican candidate makes an ad so disgusting that even other Republicans say to take it down…but Joe Manchin somehow finds a way to “both sides” it.
Incredible work.
The disgusting attack ad in the Ohio governor’s race points to a much bigger problem in politics. The political parties don't care about the character or integrity of their candidates anymore. They only care about power — no matter what it takes. We need common sense leadership, and once again, the parties are failing to meet the moment.
Bucks County Dems are fired up and showing up to flip the PA state senate and expand the PA House Dems’ majority so @JoshShapiroPA can get more shit done to make lives better, lower costs, and have Harrisburg work for people, not billionaires and corporate lobbyists.
I really do find the whole “let’s have a sit down intra-factional debate” thing sorta unproductive usually because it pits figures who really have no interest in learning from a respective faction against each other.
It’s particularly frustrating amongst the Democratic coalition because no faction is remotely big enough to win an election.
There is no “winning” in this debate. There is only coexistence.
The point of these debates, I guess, is to take online beefs and make them thoughtful long-form conversations. But then the primary way they’re consumed and distributed is through short form clips that are intentionally cut to stir up more factional online beefs.
I don’t really see the point tbh.
‘Angel of My Dreams’ by JADE rises to a new peak of #86 (+6) on the Global Spotify chart with a new daily high of 1.47 million streams.
It also rises to #125 (+2) on the US Spotify chart with 348k streams.
Channeling my inner low information voter by not remotely trying to understand dc’s foie gras ballot initiative and voting specifically based on the vibes of proponents and opponents.
Having a former mayor of Atlanta as governor could be huge for MARTA. No reason why MARTA couldn’t become a world class transit system in the not so distant future.
I want everyone to know that if I ever decide to leave ATL/GA you can blame GDOT and MARTA 😒 useless mfs are determined to make transportation in this state an ever-lasting hell
Got our final poll of the cycle back @TheArgumentMag.
I've just never seen the bottom fall out *this badly* for a party before. There is nothing — and I mean *nothing* — good for Republicans in this one. It might well be our ugliest one yet for them.
“surrender monkeys” is a new one for Elmo.
But while I have you, the people who build clean energy—you know, the stuff that actually leads to decarbonization and fewer emissions—are backing this bill bigly.
Don’t surrender to inaction. Pass BAJAA!
Right now, these surrender monkeys are pushing to gut our foundational environmental laws in a deal w/ Trump. This dirty deal’s strongest supporters are oil & gas companies + data centers/ai. It’s part of a “bi-partisan” proposal called BAAJA. Corporate money rules them. Say NO!
