There is a fundamental difference between persuasion and coercion.

Public health officials can persuade the public by making recommendations, explaining risks and benefits, and even encouraging people to make a particular choice.

But when persuasion becomes pressure, threats, exclusion, shaming, loss of employment, restrictions on participation in society, or punishment for refusing, that is coercion.

And that is what we experienced and that is why public trust is broken.

You cannot rebuild public trust by pretending coercion never happened, minimizing its consequences, or telling people to move on.

Trust requires acknowledgment. It requires accountability. And where people were harmed, it requires meaningful redress.

Until public officials and institutions are willing to confront that reality, public trust will remain broken.

One of the most toxic fallouts from the Trump years is this reflexive need a lot of people have to automatically side with anyone going up against him.

Mark Carney is banking on that and exploiting it hard. He knows the press will paint Trump as the irresponsible, blustery provocateur in the collapsing Canada-US trade talks, so by going all-out against Trump he scores easy political points.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The truth of the matter is that the playing field has been uneven and unfair between Canada and the US for decades.

Canada imposes lofty tariffs - sometimes nearly 300% - on American cheese and milk once a tiny quota is filled, and they even give the Europeans better access than they give the Americans.

Provinces yanked American wine and spirits off the shelves in government liquor stores. They hit US cars with extra tariffs and quotas. Softwood lumber has been a long-running game too. But the biggest problem is the Chinese back-door scam: steel, auto parts, and EVs from China get lightly processed or just relabeled in Canada, then shipped into America under USMCA rules so they dodge the tariffs Trump put on Beijing.

That lets China keep flooding the North American market, undercutting American (and Canadian) workers, and basically laundering its way around the sanctions and trade barriers meant to stop its cheating. The Trump admin wants to end the free ride and make Canada shut down the transshipment loophole that China is exploiting.

The Covid psyop revealed something far more disturbing than the corruption of governments, the dishonesty of institutions or the complicity of the media; it revealed just how easily human beings can be coerced, controlled and ultimately owned.

We discovered that fear alone was not enough to secure obedience, but when combined with the threat of social rejection, it became one of the most powerful instruments of control.

People were not merely frightened of illness, they were frightened of being judged, excluded, ridiculed, dismissed as selfish, denied access to society and abandoned by those they loved.

The need for approval became a weapon. The desire to belong became a leash. Reputation, employment, relationships and even family were used as instruments of control, and millions surrendered their judgement, their bodily autonomy and their moral responsibility, simply because standing against the current felt too painful.

That period forced every one of us to discover whether our principles were genuine convictions or merely comfortable opinions we held while they cost us nothing.

Those who refused to comply were mocked, censored, threatened, ostracised and excluded. Many lost friends, careers, opportunities and relationships, yet they continued to swim against the current because betraying themselves would have cost them more than anything the world could take away.

We found out the price of freedom.

Freedom is not something granted to us by governments, nor is it proved by the absence of visible chains. Freedom is the ability to remain sovereign when obedience is rewarded and dissent is punished; it is the courage to stand alone when an entire room turns against you, and to accept being misunderstood rather than surrender what you know to be right.

Only those who were prepared to endure rejection, isolation and loss rather than hand over their conscience can truly claim to have been free, because a person whose choices can be purchased, whose silence can be bought or whose obedience can be secured through fear of exclusion is not free, they are owned.

The Covid years taught us that independence will always disappoint those who prefer our obedience, but once we no longer fear rejection, rejection loses its power over us.

There is nothing you can offer me that is worth betraying myself for, and nothing you can withhold that will make me surrender what I know to be right; that is sovereignty. That is freedom.

My problem with this interview, and with so much of the legacy media, is that they appear to be repeating the same talking points while continuing to insist they are neutral.

It never feels like a genuine conversation. It feels like an attempt to control the narrative. Watching journalists defend a particular narrative rather than curiously question it is deeply troubling.

That became especially clear in this interview when the interviewer said she didn’t want to “relitigate” what happened and instead wanted to focus on how we handle the next pandemic.

But that is exactly the problem.

You cannot prepare for the future by refusing to examine the past. If mistakes were made, if the evidence changed, if public institutions got things wrong, and if the media amplified the mistakes instead of scrutinizing them, those issues must be examined openly. Otherwise, there is little value in discussing the next pandemic if we are unwilling to learn from the last one.

RFK Jr. challenged the role of legacy media in amplifying fear during the pandemic. It is clear that the coverage focused on illness, death, isolation, and pharmaceutical interventions, while giving little attention to prevention, overall health, and informed discussion.

That raises an important question: if the dominant narrative consistently steers the public toward pharmaceutical solutions instead of prevention, natural immunity, lifestyle, or early treatment, who benefits from that narrative?

Pharmaceutical companies are businesses. Their legal duty is to their shareholders. Their business model is not about maximizing public health outcomes, can we at least be honest about that!

Legacy media also operates within commercial and institutional incentives. When journalists stop questioning powerful institutions and simply reinforce dominant narratives, they aren’t watchdogs or truth tellers, like they claim, they are parrots just like RFK Jr said because they are part of the system they are supposed to scrutinize.

Interviews like this help explain why so many people have lost trust. Public trust is rebuilt through honest questioning, open debate, humility, and a willingness to confront uncomfortable facts, not by protecting narratives or shielding powerful interests from scrutiny.

Follow the incentives. Pharmaceutical companies exist to generate returns for shareholders, not to protect your health. At a minimum let’s recognize this truth!

This is accountability long overdue.

David Morens sat at Anthony Fauci’s right hand for years. Now he’s indicted for falsifying records, deleting evidence, and running official communications through secret Gmail accounts to hide the truth about COVID origins, gain-of-function research, and the grants that flowed into Wuhan.

While they buried the evidence, the American people were locked down, censored, injected, and told to “trust the science.” Careers were destroyed. Early treatments were suppressed. Children lost years of their lives. Millions suffered.

We said it from day one. They called us dangerous. They were the ones orchestrating the cover-up.

The house of cards is collapsing. One indictment is not enough. Real justice means the entire apparatus that treated free citizens like lab rats finally faces the consequences.

When the Covid shots rolled out, the deaths were super obvious, especially working on a native reservation. They vaccinated basically everyone at the same time, so the injuries were impossible to miss.
While intubating our nurse manager who collapsed in the ER from pulmonary embolisms, another nurse was crying because she’d just lost her husband and brother-in-law to heart attacks a week apart.
So when I see doctors today still praising Fauci and the “covid vaccines,” it angers me for damn good reason.

That being said, if any government ever tries to make any medicine mandatory again, that should be considered an act of war.
If we haven’t learned this lesson by now, we never will.
