@Banthony872 @ReddHeadd_13@Keeebster@GVartwork Um yes, Insurance is a business, not a charity. And yes, they exist to make a profit. No one including me said otherwise. In this situation though, they’ll pay for his damage. That’s all.
@N_B0B@Keeebster@GVartwork You’re right CA is a whole ‘nother world, best of luck! Intentional acts excluded yes, vacant structures excluded yes, but there will be a lot of checks written on insurance carrier paper tomorrow to fix up downtown.✌️
@N_B0B@Keeebster@GVartwork I’m a bit of a form nerd. We write mostly ISO stuff, form 3/ Special. The BOP doesn’t exclude V/MM/civil commotion unless vacancy provision kicks in. Heck you can even extend outdoor property in this case. It’s covered with a regular standard BOP.
@ReddHeadd_13@Keeebster@GVartwork Didn’t get the chance to. Bottom line is there’s no need to think any of the business owners with an in-force business owners policy will get hosed, it’s covered everyone.
@ReddHeadd_13@Keeebster@GVartwork Yup. Automatically you assume that he’s going to get screwed. That is factually wrong, and does nothing to help the bad situation. Insurance was built for this, to help him on his worst day. Try to be more positive, instead of spreading a lie.
@ReddHeadd_13@Keeebster@GVartwork Why? It’s a covered cause of loss. Your tweet does nothing except harm other small business owners like me by spreading more hate with false info.
@N_B0B@Keeebster@GVartwork Wrong. Most policies include coverage for riot, vandalism, and malicious mischief etc. Debris removal and business interruption can be claimed as well.
