THE MAD BILL IS DEAD

It was clear last Friday, but today it’s absolutely certain, that Albanese‘s attack on free speech, his attempt to implement a Ministry of Truth has failed.

It was killed off by a small group of committed citizens that first rallied at Speakers Corner and spread the message online - and then by community lead grass roots campaigns, firstly getting the Liberal Party to eventually come out against it, and contacting the independent Senators by phone & email.

But we can’t rest.

We need to make the next election about Freedom of Speech.

I hope either the Libertarian Party or One Nation take a policy to the next election of having a referendum to insert a provision into the Australian Constitution to protect free speech, similar to the 1st amendment of the US Constitution, to ensure that Australians are never again threatened with a MAD Bill.
