The UK has around 700,000 job vacancies.

Even if every single vacancy was filled tomorrow, millions of working-age people would still be without a job because the jobs simply do not exist.

Think about that. We could fill every vacancy in Britain and still be paying billions in welfare, housing support, and public services for people with no realistic route into work.

Manufacturing is being driven overseas by crippling energy costs. Retail and hospitality are being hammered by taxes and employment costs. High streets are dying in plain sight.

Yet Labour and the Tories offer the same tired answers while telling us we need ever more immigration to fill jobs.

Britain doesn't have a worker shortage. It has a job creation shortage.

We need cheap energy, a manufacturing revival, thriving high streets, and an industrial strategy that puts British jobs first.

Without growth, we're simply creating a larger welfare state funded by a shrinking pool of taxpayers.

Reform must come forward with a serious industrial strategy to bring large-scale manufacturing back to the UK. Without it, millions will remain trapped on benefits because the jobs simply do not exist.

Britain cannot continue importing more, producing less, and expecting taxpayers to carry an ever-growing welfare bill. We need cheaper energy, support for industry, and policies that create well-paid jobs across the country. The status quo is not sustainable.
