The real cause of cancer was identified in 1931.
The man behind the discovery won a Nobel Prize, then was buried by the pharmaceutical industry.
Here's what Dr. Otto Warburg found:
1. “Cancer cells thrive in high-sugar environments.”
Yesterday, a senior management official at @UBAGroup reached out to me regarding my views on the treatment of the young woman in UBA’s Graduate Management Accelerated Programme (GMAP) who addressed @TonyOElumelu by his first name.
I made it clear that, in my view, this was not a “culture clash”; it was a class war, a reflection of the deeply entrenched hierarchy and class consciousness that too often determines who is considered entitled to demand deference and who is expected to provide it.
I gave a simple example, if Tony @TonyOElumelu son or daughter addressed the family gateman or driver by his first name, hardly any Nigerian would bat an eyelid.
In fact, many of the same people outraged by this young woman calling him “Tony” would probably expect the gateman or driver to address Elumelu’s children with exaggerated deference. That tells you immediately that this argument is not really about “African culture” or respect. It is about class, status, wealth and power, about who society permits to speak casually to whom.
More importantly, I specifically requested that, given the enormous public opprobrium, ridicule, and attacks this young woman has been subjected to, UBA must immediately provide her with appropriate psychosocial support.
Whatever anyone thinks about how she addressed @TonyOElumelu, no young employee or trainee should be left alone to absorb the psychological consequences of suddenly becoming the target of a massive public controversy.
She should not be sacrificed on the altar of corporate hierarchy or social-media outrage. Her dignity, welfare and mental well-being must come first. Let the poor breathe!
@EuniceOmeire@jon_d_doe How can a man identify a grateful woman on seeing her?
Majority of women are very ungrateful and entitled!
This is the reason why a man must be very careful before investing his sweat to avoid had I known situation because many women don show men shege Banza!
Godswill Akpabio is still collecting his salary equivalent in full, less allowances as pension for being an ex governor.
He is planning to die in the senate while collecting full salaries, allowances and other benefits of being a senator.
His health expenses is being funded by YOUR TAX.
When he fainted, they rushed him to London for "expert MEDICAL care."
All with your money!!!
Don't take back your country.
I speak for a lot of men when I say this:
A man can be running on 4 hours of sleep.
He can stay up until 2 AM and still wake up at 6.
He can have more bills than money in his account.
He can be buried in debt.
He can be broke as hell.
He can be carrying problems he hasn't told a single person about.
He can be lonely.
He can feel like nobody notices his effort and nobody is coming to save him.
Yet somehow, he keeps moving.
He goes to work.
He shows up.
He keeps trying.
He keeps building.
Because deep down, most men carry a stubborn belief that things will get better.
Not today.
Maybe not tomorrow.
But eventually.
The business will grow.
The debt will get paid.
The hard work will pay off.
The bad season will pass.
It's not always confidence.
Sometimes it's pure faith.
Faith that if they keep showing up, keep grinding, and refuse to quit, one day everything they've been fighting for will finally work out.
And honestly, that quiet faith is what keeps a lot of men going.
"I saw a post that said Don’t marry a man earning below ₦500k.”
Abeg, Who made ₦500k the official salary requirement for a good husband? 😂
A man’s current salary can change. His character, discipline, vision and work ethic matter too.
₦500k today doesn’t automatically mean financial security. And ₦300k today doesn’t automatically mean a man will remain on ₦300k forever.
The real question isn’t: "How much does he earn?”
Ask:
-Is he responsible?
-Does he have a plan?
-Is he hardworking?
-Can he manage money?
-Is he building something?
-Does he expect me to carry him forever?
Don’t marry poverty because someone has “potential.” But don’t reject a good man simply because his current salary hasn’t reached your arbitrary number either.
-Marry character.
-Marry responsibility.
-Marry vision.
Then build together if you’re both willing.
Because ₦500k is a number, not a character certificate. 🔎💯❤️
