@MasuMioshi@onepiecenetflix I think they're probably a good casting. They have background in theater/cabaret/comedy. So far everyone cast in one piece seems to put a lot of effort into learning all the skills they need for the role, so I imagine they will learn fighting/ballet. The vibe is there though imo
@Iustinianum@Nean115@AnimexTwts Doraemon has been running for 37 years I believe. It had an original run that ended in 2005, and then still some movies and stuff going on, and then another series started again of it. I think its still going today
@julesthoughts_@Diionysan Well I've recently started a rewatch (again) so I'll bookmark this and if i remember, you might get a random string of sporadic replies of zosopp pictures or clips from me. But zoro stealing usopps coffee near the beginning of the series immediately popped into my head. Its cute
@adonattog18@kacchanito Do you not understand that ppl can just enjoy fandoms for fun? For a lot of ppl, the 'what if' factor is fun entertainment. The show itself is also just a story, its not actually real. Calling someone delusional for enjoying variations of a story is silly. Ur way too worked up.
@Noarf276795@leario4 Yamato uses he/him pronouns in both dubs and subs. Everyone, and even Kaido refers to yamato as his son. Just because he doesn't give a shit about having boobs, doesn't mean he isn't Trans. He directly expresses many times that he is a man and corrects people who say otherwise.
@JGoodroger@cawksuckah@PopCrave But it is very much real. If a 6 year old knows that gender is irrelevant to whether or not they get the warm fuzzies, and genuinly thinks that is how everyone is for YEARS before hearing slurs and becoming aware that they're different, and not liked, that isn't pretending.
@JGoodroger@cawksuckah@PopCrave I never understand why people think this. I didn't know there was a term for it at the time, but I knew i had crushes on both boys and girls when I was like 6. I genuinly thought everyone was like that, years later I learned that wasn't the case, &that me liking girls is 'gross'
@hi_lukee@strawhatzuffy Nah hes just an aroace king. He has shown 0 interest in any way towards anyone for the whole series. I know I'm not alone in thinking that either. Even the guys in my life that aren't a part of the queer community have brought that up on their own
@tsukeyi I honestly thought the replies were going to be more ppl agreeing with you. When I read the first tweet in the thread, I immediately thought of several of the panels you ended up referencing. You organized this so well, its insane the amount of ppl that are trying to excuse him
@hamidlegentil Abandoning them with criminals (who were good people, but still) going โdonโt ever turn out to be criminals mkay, peace โ๏ธโ then returning every few months or so to beat the shit outta them for saying they wanna be criminals isnโt โbeing a good grandparentโ
The fact that it took something that earth-shattering to happen for him to finally confront his own cowardice & uproot the status quo is fucking unforgivable to me and the mark of a true hypocritical coward. I like him v much as a character but despise him as a human being lmao
He loved Ace just like he loves Dragon & Luffy. And his death was the catalyst for why he is now finally opposing the government by going to save Koby.
The problem is that it took the fucking DEATH OF HIS GRANDSON to finally get him off his ass and do SOMETHING
He doesnโt actually care about keeping his job. That take is actively watering down the nuance and complexity of the character.
Itโs instead a horribly realistic moral failing that happens too often in real life with people in real positions of power.
THIS is why Dadan & Dragon were so angry with him. Not because โhe was so worried about losing his job he didnโt save his family.โ
They were disgusted by him being one of the most powerful people alive yet too weak to stand behind his own so-called justice.
