Ba asked for private conversation but waste of time
We were given choice of pay £1200 extra for half value flights or lose £1100 because Ba don’t do credits or refunds
The reason for the change of flight was medical malpractice practice

Ended up paying £1200 more for less of flights
Or lose £1000 because no credit
This is disgraceful
Ba will not give us a refund if we fly economy, so it’s not much of a choice
Terrible customer service especially as we are not just changing due to change of heart,

Had 4 flights booked between Inverness and fortmyres in October this year
One of the passengers had a knee replacement at no fault of his the surgeon cut his main artery in 2 places, after a 7hr op 5 days later he is now slowly on the mend
I contacted ba to move the flights until April 2025 after sending proof they agreed to swap, that is were the good news ends
The tell me to book the exactly same flights in premium economy as we booked in the October it was going to be £2500 more
If I only go premium on return it’s £1200 more
If we change to economy both ways it’s £1100 cheaper than our original cost we paid
