“This video is for the people who are backing up Iran right now, mostly Democrats that they are supporting Iran right now.

I want to go over few rules and laws in Iran about women. Basically, it's everything against what democrats believe. So if you're a woman in Iran, you basically, they see you as a half a brain, so you don't have the full brain.

So let's say if you witnessed a murder and you're a woman and you want to go to the court and say that you witnessed, you witnessed a murder, there should be three women. So your witness, like your words will be approved in the court versus if it's a man and it witnessed a murder, only one man is enough. Why? Because they say women have half a brain. If you're a woman in Iran, you have kids and you want to divorce, you only can have that child until 7 years.

After 7 years, your child is for your husband and he can come and take the child away from you and you might never, ever see your child again. Or if he doesn't want to, he can leave this child with you and there is nothing that you can do about it.

If you're a woman in Iran and you want to divorce your husband, oh, you have to go through hell. But if your husband wants to divorce you, it's super easy for them.

If you're a woman in Iran and you're being beaten up by your husband and me as your neighbor, call the police and say, you know, my neighbor is, you know, hitting his wife to death. Police will do nothing. They will say, well, it's a family matter and it is his wife. So basically a wife for a man is like an object, just like they bought a car or something. So they will not interfere and they will see that, say that it's their personal problem, it's not our problem.

If you're a woman in Europe and you want to travel out of country, you have to have the approval from your father if you're single or your brother if you don't have a father, if you're married, you have to have the approval from your husband. So basically your husband has to sign a paper that gives you the permission to leave the country. And let's say your husband said, you can't keep the kid until that kid is 18 years old, you have no right over that kid.

— If you're a woman and you walk into your home and you see your husband with another woman and you get mad and you kill them, you will be hanged.

But if you're a man, you walked in a room and get your husband with another man, you can kill both of them and nothing's gonna happen to you. In Iran, you will be hanged. If you kill someone, that's a punishment. But if you're a woman and you kill someone and your punishment is hanging, but you are virgin, they will first rape you before they hang you.

I know that you can't even put this in your imagination, but that is true. Because in Islam, you cannot hang a virgin woman. In Iran, if a woman does not want to sleep with the husband and have sex, and the husband basically force you and kind of rape you, actually it does not count as a rape. So your husband can basically force you to have a sex, and there is nothing that you can do about it. In Iran, a woman cannot sing. No man can hear your voice singing.

In Iran, if you're a woman and you get raped, do you know what's the first thing that they ask you? What did you do that they raped you as a woman? In Iran, we get sexually assaulted every day. Me, myself, I've been in Iran for 27 years, I've been sexually assaulted every day. Not by raping, but you're walking in the street, they will touch your butt, they will touch you, they will say nasty things in your ear.

You're not safe anywhere.

— 95% of my family still lives in Iran. My mother's side is Mashadi. She told me this, that every single person she knows has lost someone close to them in Mashad. Bodies were piled in the streets, wrapped like black garbage bags, the way trash lines, city sidewalks in New York.

She said her mother's apartment building had bodies reaching all the way up to her doorstep. Someone we know was shot multiple times in the leg. He couldn't go to the hospital to seek medical help.

People are terrified to go because they're killing them. So their family pooled nearly 2000 U.S to pay for a private doctor to come to their house so he wouldn't lose his leg. Most people can't even afford that. They're afraid to go seek help. They're getting infections and they're slowly dying in their homes.

Phone lines as we know are being monitored, so families are writing messages on paper and holding them up to the camera when they can FaceTime. She said the internet is turned on briefly as an act of surveillance to track and hunt protesters.

She says what's happening is just unimaginable. People are being killed so easily. My mother also spoke to a female family member of ours in Tehran today, and she said, we're fine, but we are all beaten. They beat the shit out of all of us. That viral video of a woman being kicked in the head that's been going around, that's just one leaked clip of what's happening every single day.

Most stores are closed except for basic necessities. Prices were already inflated. She says prices have tripled in the last 2 weeks — No one's been able to make money this year. People have nothing left.

— She said, people want intervention because without it, we will die. We are watching a real life Handmaid's tale, the numbers coming out daily keep increasing in the tens of thousands who have been murdered. This is devastating. This is a massacre.

And if this becomes normalized in Iran, if we look away, it won't stop there. It will spread. So please keep speaking up. Please keep putting pressure on world leaders to act now.

I stand unapologetically and unequivocally with every woman, every man, and every child in Iran who yearns for freedom, dignity, and the most basic liberties that so many of us take for granted.

The woke left is quick to lecture the world about international law when it suits their narrative. They line up the quotes, the conventions, the talking points. But where is that same outrage when it comes to the lived reality of the people inside Iran.

If you’re going to quote international law about Iran, then quote the whole truth.

Women who can be arrested for showing their hair.

Women who risk death for daring to say no.

What about the men of Iran.

Men who can be imprisoned for dissent.
Men tortured for political opposition.
Men executed after opaque trials.
Men conscripted and sent to enforce the will of a regime they did not freely choose.
Men who cannot criticize clerical authority without risking their livelihoods or their lives.
Men jailed for journalism, activism, satire, or protest.
Men who live under a system where the ballot does not truly change the power structure.

What about the children of Iran.

Girls forced into compulsory dress codes from a young age.
Children exposed to state propaganda instead of open civic education.
Children who can be married off at shockingly young legal ages.
Children detained during protests.
Children growing up under censorship, with restricted access to global information.
Children facing economic hardship driven by corruption and isolation.
Children watching parents arrested for speaking freely.

Does that matter.

If you invoke international law, invoke it for the dissident in prison.
Invoke it for the woman beaten in the street.
Invoke it for the child who has never known a free press.

Human rights are not selective.
They do not apply only when geopolitically convenient.

If you truly stand for justice, start with the people who live under it every day.
