Society is moving backwards and becoming more misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic and racist..
because oil and tech billionaires fund a culture war to distract us from what really matters:
climate change is killing us and the elite is making you suffer
They are so afraid of you realizing there are politicians who can and actually want to make your life better and not just collect checks from lobbyists and corporations.
In the old USSR, people could be arrested for photographing bridges, tunnels, etc. A repressive and paranoid regime assumed the photographers must be spies and saboteurs. Americans laughed at such petty tyranny. Nothing like that could happen in their free country! Until now.
My frontal lobe fully developed, and I realized that working a 9 to 5 job five days a week until I am 60 just so I can “enjoy” a few years when I am close to death is the worst idea I have ever seriously considered.
@SportsnetPR All my homies hate Roger and Bell, all about layoffs and share prices we outta go to that ugly ass, green Dr Evil looking shithole of a main office and take a flamethrower to that place
THE INSANELY RIGGED ECONOMY
Yesterday, while tens of millions of families were struggling to pay for rent, food, healthcare, childcare and gas, seven of Trump's oligarchic friends became $210 billion richer. Not last week. Not over the past decade. In less than 24 hours, these 7 men, the wealthiest people on earth, became $210 billion richer.
Incredibly, since Trump was elected on November 5, 2024, these 7 men, all Big Tech Oligarchs, have become more than $1.5 trillion richer and are now collectively worth over $2.8 trillion. Meanwhile, we have the highest rate of childhood poverty of any other wealthy nation, young adults have a lower standard of living than their parents and over 20% of our seniors are trying to survive on an annual income of $15,000 a year or less.
Yes. We are living in an oligarchy.
A Good Day for Trump’s Friends:
Yesterday, Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, got $164.8 billion richer and is now worth $1.4 trillion. He’s worth $1.1 trillion more than on Election Day.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said it best: “Call it democracy or call it democratic socialism, but there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all of God’s children.”
@scottygb They expecting her to say "oh to contribute to the bustling economy by finding meaning in employment!" Go fuck yourselves people are realizing that while we were all hard at work the billionaires and politicians fucked everything up
"Stare at a wall" is so apt bc there is literally nothing for kids to do here anymore. Parks are for young children, so teens get chased out, everything is super expensive so you can't go on a day out, and there's precious little nature left to explore.
Thats all you can do.
