Hot as all get out today in Central FLA, yet we still getting work.
Good box drill here.
1st leg: continuous drop (promote front side shoulder down to help scan whole field, elbows tight to lessen hit radius),
2nd leg: either tight sprint or slide/reset,
3rd leg: continuous hitch while scanning to help eye manipulation,
4th leg: one step or slide and throw quick.
*key factors: be relaxed with your drop. I say be “California cool” with the drop. Look in control of everything. It’s your show.
Great work today guys! The relationships are growing every day. That’s what it’s all about.

A player who just needed reps to gain confidence and familiarity within the system. Not an easy one to run, but he is getting better every day! Keep working. Back to the lab!

Got some good work today with conditioning one step slide drills & ladder drills with DL clouding window with slide/rest & pop. All energy goes toward the target.
FYI, QBs when you lift with your team workouts, focus on power cleans & quick violent hips with the clean. All helps with slide & resetting.

Just now really getting into the nitty gritty of training. Every training session I end with some type of conditioning. My conditioning is related to what they do in a game. One step movement off apex of drop helps with weight shifting while keeping eyes down field. This is after an hour of intense footwork & when they have thrown 75-100 balls.
Can you work when you’re tired? Good work today by my group. All levels I ask to do this. Young as 8 up to Pro level. Set a high standard to reach a high standard.
P.S. I do this with my QBs after practice as well. My group will always work hard.
