Beyond Turing
Turing's theory of the universal computer is a special case of constructor theory, because it only looks into what computers can [and can't] do. It only applies to machines that can perform computations.
Constructor theory, on the other hand, puts constraints on any kind of machine, not just computers: heat engines, catalysts, enzymes.
The theory constrains the operations of these machines as well as the most general machine you can think of - the universal constructor.

A true great man. Great dad. Great actor. Great athlete. So much fun to be around always. Smart as hell. Loyal as hell. Funny as hell. Loved his sons more than anything. What a guy!! Everyone loved him. My wife and I had the best times with him every time we saw him. Love to his entire family and Carl will always be known as a true legend.
I think I figured out why Microsoft’s AI chatbot turned nasty: if I were forced to have as many as 50 conversations with everyone on planet earth daily, I’d probably be a jerk too.

I remember using Twitter back in its early days, when it would randomly break and show you a screen with a whale sinking. I think @elonmusk should bring that whale back if things get really bad.
Democracy — of the people, by the people, and for the people — is so fragile that you can vote it out of existence.
Just select candidates who will only accept the election results if they win.
Understanding that success comes from internal management is something that should be highlighted even more in these post-COVID-19 times and Jason’s approach is definitely showing incredible results. Listen to what he had to say more here 5/5

As soon as I started podcasting, I realized why there are so many podcasts out there. Having the opportunity to talk to CEOs and leaders of such diverse backgrounds on Road to CEO gives me insights into aspects of business I’ve never had a chance to encounter. 1/5
But to achieve that, Jason knows how important it is to have team members who love working together, so he makes sure to always:
1) communicate clearly;
2) get regular feedback;
3) organize team lunches when talking about work is off the table! 4/5
@APSVaSchoolBd used its power to shut down kids' one precious shot to make lifelong sports dreams come true. If they don't allow families to evaluate risks for themselves, why should families allow them another term in office? #LetFamiliesDecide
